The rich don't pay their taxes?

Remember back in 1991-1992 when Bill Clinton was running for President of the United States and claimed in the 1980s the rich in America didn't pay their "fair share"? I wonder why then President Bush didn't correct the record.

The top 1% of income earners in America pay around 38% of the total income tax bill. The top 10% of income earners in America pay nearly 60% of the income tax bill. And guess how much of the federal income tax bill is paid for by the bottom 50% of income earners? Yep! Less than 3%.

So, is the claim that the rich skip out on their taxes and the middle class gets stuck supporting this country really true? I hardly think so.

Cant Defeat so Let's Impeach

So, here we sit many months into a witch hunt and what do we have? The House of Representatives led by Speaker Nancy Pelosi has presented articles of impeachment, has actually impeached President Trump and now refuses so far to submit it all to the Senate for trial. How much money was spent? How many millions of taxpayer dollars were wasted looking for some evidence of wrongdoing by our President? The investigation into President Clinton cost over $40,000,000 in 1998. And to find out what? That he cheated on Hillary with a 21 year old intern? Even though I didn't like Clinton being President, in hindsight I am disappointed that the government spent that time and effort trying to take down a duly-elected President. Cops Are Asking You Questions. Do you know what to do?

What are your rights in an encounter with the police? Does it matter if you are under 18? What should you do? To make a long story short, your best bet is to not answer any questions. You have the right under the 5th Amendment to our constitution to not answer any questions. You have a right to not agree to any searches and/seizures of your property. And unless they can articulate what crime you are being suspected of, you are not required in most situations to show identification. Yes, these rights do apply to those under 18. The Supreme Court has ruled in many cases that the rights offered to people over the age of 18 also apply to minors. Now of course, police can and will lie to minors telling them that they don't have any rights because they are underage. Simply not true.
